Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar has directed the officials of Electricity Board that there should be no delay in replacement of defective, burnt transformers and electricity meters to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the citizens. Tomar had conducted a surprise inspection of Guna store of electricity department while going to Gwalior from Bhopal.

During the inspection, he enquired about the status of transformers kept in open and the meters from the concerned authorities. He directed that the faulty power meters and transformers should be repaired quickly and the meter testing works should be ensured within the time limit.

Energy Minister Tomar visited a photo copy shop and sought information about the electricity supply system from the shopkeeper and other people present in the shop.
