Gwalior Smart City Advisory Forum meeting organized –

— Add citizens to Smart City project, take suggestions from intellectuals and organize interaction program with difference classes of society – MP Vivek Shejwalkar
— Prepare a proposal on how development work can be possible outside the ABD area under Smart City – MP Vivek Shejwalkar
— Work extensively on contact tracing to prevent coronavirus transmission – MP Vivek Shejwalkar
— Work force has been increased for corona sampling – Collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh
— Improve public transport and traffic management in Gwalior. Create proper place for bus stand and tempo stand – MP Vivek Shejwalkar
— Markets in ABD area where there is enough space should be reconstructed by and provision should be made for proper parking in those market – MP Vivek Shejwalkar
— Install statue of Bhavabhuti at the entrance of Town Hall and signboard near the building – MP Vivek Shejwalkar
— AMRUT Yojana work around the city is under progress which is monitored through Smart City Control Command Center. Correspondence is also being made with Central Government about the availability of funds for the GIS mapping project of Smart City – Municipal Commissioner Sandeep Mawkin
— Under Smart City Project, 71 projects have to be worked out on 11 modules, ABD area 58 projects have to be worked out on 8 modules, Pan City 13 projects have to be worked out on 3 modules. Area to be worked out are; heritage and culture, mobility, housing, solid waste management, sustainability, recreatuib and social upgradation, technology, economic development, infrastructure and intelligent operations control unit – Smart City CEO Jayati Singh
— SP Navneet Bhasin, Advisory Committee Member Vijay Goyal, Rajendra Seth, Ramesh Pataria and other departmental officers were also present
