Harsi dam at Bhitarwar, Gwalior will be developed as a tourist destination

— Harsi dam was built in 1935 with purpose of irrigation for farmers in Bhitarwar & #Dabra
— Action plan will also be prepared to start boating in the reservoir
— Efforts will be done to create greenery around the dam
— Harsi dam provides water for irrigation to 198 villages of Dabra & Bhitarwar
— Dam water capacity is 195 million cubic meter
— Right now 151 million cubic meter water is #available
— Water is provided through canals in an area of 65 km through Harsi dam
— Dam was today inspected by Gwalior Collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh, Zila Panchayat CEO Shivam Verma, Executive Engineer of Water Resources Department Girish Sahu, Executive Engineer Rajesh Chaturvedi and other Water Resources Department officers
