MP Government has launched loan scheme without interest and want you to say no to moneylenders

The Chief Minister has said that when government is there to help the people to lend for #business then there is no need to go to the moneylenders for #loan. The government on the lines of urban street vendors will now make available working capital of Rs. 10 thousand without interest from banks to rural #street vendors for their works and business. The amount of interest will be borne by the state government. Beneficiaries are not required to give any kind of collateral security and #security depsoit to banks.
The Chief Minister Chouhan launched ‘ Mukhya Mantri Street Vendor Loan Scheme’ and ‘Gramin Kamgar Setu Portal’ through video conferencing at Mantralaya. The Additional Chief Secretary Panchayat and Rural Development Manoj Shrivastava and others were present during the conference. The street vendors aged between 18 and 55 of rural areas can avail benefit of the #scheme. Hair dressers, handcart pullers, cycle rickshaw pullers, potters, cycle and motorcycle mechanics, carpenters, rural craftsmen, weavers, laundry men, tailors and workers related to Karmkar Mandal can avail benefit of the scheme.
Loan to be sanctioned by banks within 30 days
The Chief Minister Chouhan has informed that loan will be sanctioned by banks within 30 days of submission of application. The cases will be disposed of on the first come-first serve basis. The scheme will be conducted by the Panchayat and #Rural Development department and Collectors will be the nodal officer of this scheme in districts.
Facility of online application
The Chief Minister Chouhan said that a facility of online application has been given to applicants to avail benefit of the scheme. Applicants will be able to apply online on Kamgar Setu Portal. In addition, application can also be submitted through kiosks. There will also be a facility to submit applications in office of Gram Panchayats and Janpad Panchayats.
Not need to give any charges, collateral security and security deposit
The Chief Minister Chouhan reitrated that applicants are not required to give any kind of charges, collateral security and security deposit for availing benefit of the scheme. He clearly instructed the officials to ensure that any kind of charges should not be charged at any level from applicants.
