Sahriya tribe women from Gwalior village #Sirol are earning through Kadaknath poultry farming

— Kadaknath chicken is famous in Jhabua, Dhar & Alirajpur but due to these women, Kadaknath is getting famous in Gwalior district at Sirol village, panchayat #Dabra
— 58 Sahriya women got 40-40 chicks from local Agricultural University and #Animal Husbandry Department, later each #chicken was sold between Rs. 800 to Rs. 1000
— Then Under National Rural Livelihoods Mission every #women received 100-100 chicks which helped them earn between Rs. 30-40,000 in months
— Kaddanath #hen’s egg sells for 50 rupees, rooster 800 to 1200 rupees and hen sells between 3000 to 4000 rupees
— #Hotels and restaurants of Gwalior are their clients. They also sell through Serve Gwalior app, Haat Bazaar etc.
