Governor Smt. Anandi Ben Patel administered the oath of office and secrecy to the ministers. The Cabinet expansion oath-taking programme was held at Sandipani auditorium in Raj Bhavan. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan was present at the function.

Twenty Cabinet and 8 Ministers of State took oath in the swearing-in ceremony. Among those who took oath as Cabinet Ministers are Shri Gopal Bhargava, Shri Jagdish Deora, Shri Vijay Shah, Shri Bisahulal Singh, Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Shri Bhupendra Singh, Shri Edal Singh Kansana, Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, Shri Vishwas Sarang, Smt. Imarti Devi, Dr. Prabhuram Chaudhary, Shri Mahendra Singh Sisodia and Shri Pradyumn Singh Tomar, Shri Prem Singh Patel, Shri Omprakash Saklecha, Sushri Usha Thakur, Shri Arvind Bhadoria, Dr. Mohan Yadav, Shri Hardeep Singh Dung and Shri Rajwardhan Singh Premsingh Dattigaon.

Shri Bharat Singh Kushwaha, Shri Inder Singh Parmar, Shri Ramkhilavan Patel, Shri Ram Kishore Kanwre, Shri Brijendra Singh Yadav, Shri Giriraj Dandotia, Shri Suresh Dhakad and Shri O.P.S. Bhadoria took the oath of office and secrecy as Ministers of State.

Among those present in the oath-taking ceremony were Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Rural Development and Panchayat Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Thawarchand Gehlot, Union Minister of State for Culture and Tourism Shri Prahlad Patel, MP Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, MP Sushri Pragya Thakur besides all Cabinet ministers. Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains conducted the oath-taking ceremony.
