Photograph of the Durbar Hall, Jai Vilas Palace, with Edward, Prince of Wales (1894-1972) and Madho Rao II Scindia, Maharaja of Gwalior (1876-1925) who are seated at the end of the durbar hall on thrones. Guests are seated in rows along the sides. Many of the figures are ‘ghosted’, due to movement. The Palace was built in the European style in 1874.
