He said: This is Gwalior Fort in central India. It has existed since at least the 10th century, and it is one of the largest in #Asia. A #photographer’s first inclination is to use a wide angle lens to include the entirety of the massive #fortress in the frame, but that seemingly pushes the structure further away. That makes it less impressive in the picture. So, I did a 9-frame pano with a 100mm focal length #shooting vertically oriented images. I stitched them together in Photoshop, and this created a long panorama image. I then used Image > canvas size to make the picture into a 2 x 3 ratio. This expanded the area of the #sky which, in turn, allowed me to replace the sky for a more dynamic background. Finally, I digitally added the model in a beautiful sari to increase the depth perception and to add interest.
