MP Horticulture Minister Bharat Singh Kushwah reviewed departmental plans after meeting with officers of Gwalior and Chambal divisions.

— In the area of horticulture, there is immense potential in all the districts of Gwalior and Chambal divisions. Therefore, take a concrete action plan after taking the opinion of farmers – Kushwah
— He directed that the development plan should be finalized by assessing the possibilities of vegetables, fruits, flowers, medicinal and spice crops
— Special emphasis was laid on increasing the acreage of horticulture crops
— Motivate farmers to join Aatmanirbhar Bharat Yojana – Kushwah
— By promoting horticulture crops, we can get national level honors like Krishi Karman Award – Kushwah
— Minister reviewed the production of fruits, vegetables, spices, flowers and medicinal plants in all the districts of Gwalior and Chambal divisions
— Minister of State said that farmers are not forced to sell their vegetables at low prices, for this, the government is seriously considering making a cold room in the mandi
— Discussions will be held with insurance company and senior officials at the Bhopal level to reduce the premium amount taken under the crop insurance scheme for horticulture crops and increase the insurance claim
— Divisional joint director horticulture Ratan Singh Katara and other senior officials were present at the event
— Special emphasis was laid on revival of departmental nurseries
— Develop model nurseries, all important plant species are available in the district. Bring from outside if necessary – Kushwah
— Polyhouses should be constructed in the district headquarters nursery – Kushwah
