The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that our topmost priority is to stop Covid-19 infection. Besides prevention of infection, it should be ensured that general public do not face problem of any kind. Economic activities should be continued and effective action should be taken to ensure that Covid infection does not spread.

The Chief Minister Chouhan gave these directives in context to Corona, while deliberating with officers at airport during his visit to Gwalior on Monday. Chouhan said that it should be kept in mind that the general public and people who earn their daily livelihood by doing small businesses should not face any problem because of the lockdown. Along with this, economic activities should also be continued. He instructed for taking effective steps for prevention of corona besides making special efforts to generate awareness among the common man.

The Chief Minister Chouhan said that besides making health services further better for prevention of corona infection, special attention should be paid to crowd management. He further stated that the best treatment should be given to people with Covid positive symptoms. Not a single person should face problem in getting better health services, he added.

The Collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh informed about the efforts being done in the district for prevention of corona infection. He said that online arrangements have been ensured for management of hospitals in the district. Now, the online arrangement of every hospital is available. On this basis, corona infection is being prevented and management of treatment of people found positive is being ensured.

It was informed that till now, total 1707 positive cases have been found in the district. Out of these cases, at present there are only 753 active cases. Nine hundred forty six patients went back home after the recovery. There is also a fast improvement in corona active cases. Patients are returning home daily from hospitals after the health recovery.

Moreover, the Collector informed that a decision as regard to the lockdown will be taken soon after holding meeting with the Crisis Management Group. It is also being ensured that economic activities should not get obstructed and people do not face any problem because of the ongoing efforts for the prevention of corona infection. He further said that medical advice is also being given to common man as regard to corona infection by video calling through the Control Command Centre. Till now, about 1500 people have availed benefit of this system. Along with this, work has been done to provide treatment to patients by identifying them in door to door survey, conducted by the teams formed under the Kill Corona Campaign.

The Divisional Commissioner M.B. Ojha, IG Avinash Sharma, Superintendent of Police Navneet Bhasin, CEO Jila Panchayat Shivam Verma, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Sandeep Mawkin and departmental officers were present on the occasion.
