The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan decided the priorities of departments during one to one discussion with ministers. Chouhan has said that the departments should prepare their roadmap on the points decided in the discussion and ensure their implementation by deciding the time frame. The Chief Minister further mentioned that department wise review on these points will be conducted next month again.
The Chief Minister Chouhan directed the Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Science and Technology Omprakash Saklecha to prepare a single citizen database in the state. An Integrated portal of services being provided to the citizens and industries in the state will also be developed. Instructions were also given to start use of new technologies like artificial intelligence in government works. In order to increase efforts in attracting investment in the state, the work to make the system of Industry Centres at par with global standard with the cooperation of private sector and for preparing a strategy for cyber security is also to be completed within the stipulated time. The Chief Minister has also issued directives for review of activities being done for availing advantage for MSMEs through the Atmanirbhar Bharat Package.
Concrete strategy for Health services
During the discussion with the Minister for Public Health and Family Welfare Dr. Prabhuram Chowdhary, the Chief Minister Chouhan directed for developing a concrete strategy of health services. He directed to prepare an action plan for making hospitals and health services better at district level and to bring improvement in their level of standard. In the one to one discussion with the Minister for Medical Education, Bhopal Gas Tragedy, Relief and Rehabilitation Vishwas Sarang, the Chief Minister stressed the need for continuous betterment in infrastructure of medical colleges and services.
Amended provisions of Mandi Act to be implemented immediately
During the discussion with the Minister of State for Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Girraj Dandotiya, the Chief Minister Chouhan directed for immediate implementation of amended provision of Mandi Act. Chouhan said that reforms are must to make government mandis self-reliant. In the one to one discussion, emphasis was laid to give pace to the work of end to end computerization of insurance scheme, coarse grain, encouragement to crop diversification and for establishing proper market linkage for agricultural produce.
Create employment opportunities through Women Self-Help Groups
In the discussion with the Minister for Panchayat and Rural Development Dr. Mahendra Singh Sisodiya, the Chief Minister Chouhan stressed the need to pay special attention on implementation of works of water conservation, MNREGA, creation of employment opportunities through self-help groups and maintenance of PMGSY roads.
Ensure benefit of exemptions given in electricity bills reaches consumers
The Chief Minister Chouhan during the discussion with the Minister for Energy Pradyuman Singh Tomar laid emphasis on the need of constant review of actions being taken to deliver benefit of exemptions given in electricity bills to consumers. He said that it is necessary to ensure that the right people get the electricity subsidy. Instructions were also given to ensure 24×7 power supply to commercial sector and 10 hours to agriculture sector.
Continuous development in solar energy
During the discussion, Chief Minister Chouhan instructed Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Environment Minister Hardeep Singh Dang to continuously review the progress of solar energy sector and the system of environmental approval and to ensure end-to-end computerization of the system.
Improvement in standard of ease of doing business
During the discussion, Chief Minister Chouhan told Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Minister Rajwardhan Singh Prem Singh Dattigaon to invite investment in the state, implement single window in a proper manner, simplify and computerize the process of permission and make the system of industrial centres world-class.
Expansion of horticulture crops in the state
In the discussion, Chief Minister Chouhan directed the Minister of State for Horticulture and Food Processing (Independent Charge), Narmada Valley Development Department Bharat Singh Kushwaha to promote FPO (Farmer Producer Groups), complete NVDA / Narmada water based projects by 2024 and to make efforts to establish market linkage for horticultural crops.
Improve quality of school education
During the discussion, Chief Minister Chouhan instructed Minister of State for School Education (Independent Charge), General Administration Inder Singh Parmar to establish good quality schools in rural areas and ensure proper transport system for students and improve infrastructure of high school / higher secondary schools.
Developing strategies for operating Gaushalas
During the discussion, Chief Minister Chouhan issued instructions to Animal Husbandry Department, Social Justice Department Minister Prem Singh Patel to chalk out a strategy to increase farmers’ income through animal husbandry, provide KCC to milk producing farmers, continuously review distribution of social security pension and set up world class centers in the state through CSR (CSR head of companies) for special requirements of persons with disabilities .
Reforms in higher education
During the discussion, Chief Minister Chouhan instructed Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav to chalk out a strategy to bring at least one university and 5 colleges in the state in the first 100 institutions of national level.
Implementing Jal Jeevan Mission / Approval of schemes
During the discussion, Chief Minister Chouhan instructed the Minister of State for Public Health and Engineering Department Brijendra Singh Yadav to plan a strategy for the implementation of the schemes of Group Rural Nal Jal Yojana (Jal Nigam) and to make safe/clean drinking water available in every household (Jal Jeevan Mission).
World class maintenance / construction of roads
Chief Minister Chouhan issued instructions to the Minister of State for Public Works Department Suresh Dhakad to continuously review the “Chambal Progress Way” project, constantly review and ensure completion of good quality building construction works within the time limit, envisage large projects with the help of private sector and constantly review road construction works.
Improvement in AYUSH system
During the review, Chief Minister Chouhan instructed the Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge), Water Resources Ramkishore (Nano) Kanwre to improve the system of AYUSH hospital and plan a strategy to take the treatment of AYUSH from door to door.
Reviewing the distribution of backward class scholarships
During the review, Chief Minister Chouhan instructed the Backward Class and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge), Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes Welfare (Independent charge), Minister of State for Panchayat and Rural Development, Ramkhelavan Patel to generate employment through MNREGA, implementation of water conservation works, employment opportunities through women self-help groups, development of sustainable infrastructure through MNREGA and repair of roads of PMGSY.
