Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that in view of increasing number of cases of Corona in the state, the guidelines related to Corona should be strictly followed in all districts. Officers in-charge and all collectors in the districts should effectively implement Corona Strategy I.I.T.T. (Identify, Isolate, Test and Treat). In districts where testing is less, it should be increased. Home quarantine and institutional quarantine should be done as per the situation in the districts. Best treatment should be given in Corona hospitals. The public should be made aware of wearing mask, physical distancing, not forming crowd, etc., and if these guidelines are violated, fine must be imposed.

Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona in the state through video conferencing. Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Medical Education, Bhopal Gas Tragedy, Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Vishwas Sarang, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Vivek Johri, Principal Secretary Faiz Ahmed Qidwai were present at the meeting.

Interstate border must be monitored

A review of Chhatarpur district revealed that 113 new Corona patients have been detected in the last 7 days. Chief Minister Chouhan directed to continuously monitor the interstate border. Health of those coming from outside must be screened. The Chief Minister gave instructions to strictly stop illegal transportation of minerals in the district. There are 210 positive and 113 active patients in the district, 95 patients have recovered and gone home.

Testing must be increased in Barwani

A review of Barwani district revealed that 95 new cases had come up in the last 7 days. Testing in the district is 3843 per day, while in Madhya Pradesh 8150 people are being tested per day. Chief Minister Chouhan directed to increase contact tracing in the district.

Maximum number of cases surfaced in Bhopal

District wise review of Corona revealed that highest 177 new cases in the state have come up in Bhopal. This is followed by 99 in Indore, 63 in Gwalior, 49 in Morena, 30 in Chhatarpur, 28 in Jabalpur, 25 in Vidisha, 24 in Ujjain, 20 in Neemuch, 20 in Barwani, 18 in Jhabua, 17 in Rewa and 16 in Hoshangabad. Thirteen new positive patients have been found in 25 tests in Damoh. Chief Minister Chouhan instructed all these districts to take special precautions.

Not more than 5 people can visit temples at a time

A review of Satna district revealed that new cases are coming up in Maihar. Chief Minister Chouhan directed that all the districts should take care that not more than 5 people should visit temples and places of worship at a time.
