To prevent Covid-19 transmission in Gwalior meeting held in Bal Bhavan with staff of Revenue, Police, Municipal Corporation and Health Department.

— Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh said that the work of preventing infection of Covid-19 is not done by any individual, department, it is necessary to coordinate efforts of all departments in this task. Revenue, Police as well as Health Department’s also play an important role in prevention. He said that all incident commanders should cooperate with the government staff in their respective areas as well as the local public representatives and active people in the prevention of infection
— Collector said that transporting corona positive patients to hospital, contact tracing is an important task. Along with that, in the containment area, adequate management is absolutely necessary. He said that people who have been home quarantined should not go out of the house or move around, and it should also be monitored
— Instructions were also given in the meeting that as soon as the containment area is declared, barricading should be arranged immediately. Along with this, regular monitoring of containment area should also be done. Along with the deployment of police force, the containment area officer and a teacher have also been deployed. The mutual coordination of these three is also necessary. The list of containment area will also be made available to police officers daily
— Collector also asked the police officers to regularly monitor containment area. If necessary, action should also be taken. Municipal corporation staff should do sanitation work in containment area
— Superintendent of Police Navneet Bhasin said that due to the coordinated efforts of all departments in Gwalior, good action has been taken to prevent corona infection.
