Madhya Pradesh high court expressed strong displeasure on submissions made by Gwalior police while hearing a habeas corpus petition.

Case was related to a married woman who had gone missing from her husband’s home in Gwalior. Missing persons complaint was lodged at the Girwai police station by her husband. She was taken into custody by police from the house of one Kamla Mahor on July 14.

#Petitioner was represented by advocate Awdesh Singh Bhadoria. The girl when she was presented before the court, said that she had left her #husband’s house as he used to beat him.

She also submitted that she was living at Mahor’s #house of her on will.
