The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that important decisions have been taken in view of corona infection, health safety of students pursuing higher education and their career. Admission to students of first and second year graduation as well as to students of post graduation second semester will be given in the next class on the basis of examination result of previous year and internal evaluation of current session. Similarly, examinations of students of final year graduation and 4th semester of post graduation will be conducted by open book system at their home itself to protect them from infection of corona ensuring physical distancing. The Chief Minister Chouhan further mentioned that questions are always raised on their final degree because of general promotion. Hence, decision has been taken to hold their examinations by open book system, he added.

Question papers will be made available to the students of final year graduation and to the students of 4th semester of post graduation on their login ID and prescribed website. In the open book system, the students will be able to write examinations at their home itself. Examinees are required to submit their answer sheets at the collection centres. Collection centers in thousands have been established for collecting answer sheets. Students will also have two options for submission of answer sheets i.e. facility for sending answer sheets by post and email. The examination results of final year graduation and 4th semester post graduation will be declared by granting 50 percent weightage of marks obtained in previous years and 50 percent weightage of marks obtained in the open book system. As many as 5.71 lakh students will appear in examinations of final year graduation and 4th semester post graduation.

The university examinations will be conducted in the month of September and results will be declared in October.

The Chief Minister Chouhan has urged the students to study hard for their bright future and to bring laurel to their parents and Madhya Pradesh.
