Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the future strategy of Corona in the state should be “Lockdown minus”. That means, such a strategy should be made in which Corona can be effectively controlled without lockdown. We also have to accelerate the economy of the state. For this, the public will have to be made fully aware of Covid-19 and best treatment arrangements will have to be ensured. We will take all possible steps to protect the health of the people in the state. With the state facing financial crisis, budget can be reduced in other items, but there will be no shortage of budget in prevention and treatment of Corona.
Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the situation of corona and arrangements in the state through video conferencing from Chirayu Hospital. Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Mohammad Suleman and all concerned were present at the video conference.
Special attention to Bhopal is must
It was found in the review that Bhopal has the highest number of 199 new Corona infected people in the state. Chief Minister Chouhan instructed officers to pay special attention to Bhopal. The Chief Minister took the high mortality rate in Hamidia Hospital very seriously and issued instructions to the Dean Medical College for arrangement of best treatment. With 101 new Corona cases being identified in a review of Barwani district, the Chief Minister instructed the Collector to strictly follow the lock down in the district with special care and caution.
Antigen test must be encouraged
Chief Minister Chouhan said that antigen test should also be promoted in Madhya Pradesh to conduct maximum number of Corona tests speedily. It was informed that with this, the report of Corona test is made available within 20 minutes. This is especially useful for testing people without symptoms.
SOP workout must
After reports of an Army group in Gwalior on being found Corona infected, Chief Secretary Bains directed that SOP workout should be done to effectively prevent the infection of Corona in Army troops, police force etc.
Officers-in-charge must ensure strict adherence to guide lines in the districts
Chief Minister Chouhan directed that the officers-in-charge should ensure strict adherence to the guidelines for prevention of Corona infection in the districts under their charge. Also, the public should be made aware so that they take all precautions. Full cooperation of voluntary organizations and public should be sought in this work.
