Government servants in Gwalior will now have to come to the office in dignified and gracious clothes instructs Divisional Commissioner M.B. Ojha to all divisional officers and district collectors of Gwalior division.

— Ensure that all subordinate government servants are put on a dignified, polite and #formal dress to discharge their duties in the government office – Commissioner
— If found to be in #violation of the instructions, proposals should be sent to the competent officer for disciplinary action – Commissioner
— It is mentioned that the presence of senior officers like Additional Collector wearing “fat #jeans” in the meeting during Commissioner visit to Ashoknagar district, indicates that the act is contrary to the dignity of the post of government servant, which is not fair
— It is noteworthy that all the government officials, including the Chief Minister, expressed their displeasure at the review meeting organized through video conferencing under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister of the state on 20 July 2020, by the Forest Divisional Officer of Mandsaur district, wearing an ashline garment (T-shirt). And the employees have been given clear instructions to come to the office wearing decent, formal and dignified clothes
