The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that all districts should ensure adherence to the guidelines issued in order to stop growing infection of corona. Our corona strategy IITT i.e. Identify, Isolation, Test and Treatment should be followed totally in the state. Along with this, people should be made conscious to wear masks, maintaining physical distancing besides taking all other necessary precautions. Take action against violators of guidelines, he added.
The Chief Minister Chouhan further mentioned that all the Ministers of the state should constantly monitor the situation of their respective areas and guide the local administration. We have to stop growth of corona infection in the state under any circumstances. Chouhan said that the best treatment arrangements should be ensured in all districts.
The Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the situation of corona and arrangements in the state through video conferencing from Chirayu Hospital. During the video conferencing, he reviewed district wise arrangements for protection from corona infection, growing number of patients and deaths occurred due to the infection.
Expressing resentment over the growing cases in Chhatarpur and Barwani, the Chief Minister Chouhan asked to get the precautions strictly followed for protection from corona infection and generate awareness with the help of social organizations and society. It was informed in the video conference that the corona growth rate of Barwani is 6.79 percent in the last 7 days. Similarly, the infection positivity rate and recovery rate of Barwani is 9.01 percent and 54.8 percent respectively. As regard to Chhatarpur, the growth rate is 12.48 percent, positivity rate is 8.81 percent and recovery rate is 51.8 percent in the last 7 days. The Chief Minister Chouhan expressed satisfaction over the current status of corona infection in Indore. At the same time, he directed the Commissioner Indore to bring the situation of corona infection under control in Barwani. The Chief Minister said that all districts should ensure arrangement of health services as per the situation of corona infection in their areas. He reiterated that all ministers should monitor the situation of corona infection in their respective areas. It was informed in the meeting that the capacity of sample testing has been increased in the state and the state has come down to 15th place from 14th in the country.
The Minister for Health Dr. Prabhuram Chowdhary, Minister for Home Dr. Narottam Mishra, Minister for Medical Education Vishwas Sarang, Minister for Urban Development and Housing Bhupendra Singh also attended the review meeting through video conferencing. The Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary Faiz Ahmed Qidwai, Director National Health Mission Chhavi Bhardwaj including Commissioners and Collectors of all districts attended the review meeting through video conferencing.
