Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that voluntary organizations should be connected to spread awareness of adoption of measures to prevent Corona. For this, an outline must be created and implemented soon. Awareness against Corona can be brought about only with the help of society. Government machinery is not sufficient for this. A framework must be created to connect the people of the society, so that people understand its seriousness and spread awareness through communication. Also, people must be advised to wear masks and practice social distancing. Chouhan said that we will be able to win the battle against Covid only with the cooperation of the society.
Chief Minister Chouhan reviewed the condition and arrangements of Corona in the state through video conferencing from the hospital during his treatment on Sunday. Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh, Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Prabhuram Chaudhary, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar Shukla also took part in the video conference.
Chief Minister Chouhan instructed that overall reports of people under home quarantine should also be taken. Full compliance with Covid guidelines must be ensured. He also directed all the ministers to interconnect the society to spread awareness against Corona infection in their respective areas. He said that in case of need, the ministers should make the officers aware of any problems or essential aspects of their areas and get them resolved through video conferencing, through phone or other means.
Chief Minister Chouhan reviewed the situation of Corona in the state through video conference and sought information about the status of all the districts of the state. He also sought information from the authorities regarding capacity of Medical College, Covid Care Centre, hospital and the arrangements of treatment there. Chouhan said that lockdown should be strictly followed to overcome Covid.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that everyone, including ministers, MLAs and officials who came in contact with him should get themselves tested. He said that he is concerned about everyone. No one should suffer because of me. Everyone must get tested and adopt all safety measures, so that I become free of worry. All those who came in contact with them have been advised to remain under isolation and home quarantine. Testing will also be conducted on Tuesday. In the video conference, Chief Minister Chouhan also gave necessary guidelines regarding annual increment hike of employees and distribution of laptops to meritorious students.
