On Friday, National and International Kathak workshop was organized online by Raja Man Singh Tomar Music and Arts University in which Guru Jai Kishan Maharaj (Lucknow Gharana, Padma Vibhushan, elder son and disciple of Kathak dancer Guru Shri Pandit Birju Maharaj), his wife, Guru Ruby Mishra (disciple of Guru Shri Pandit Birju Maharaj ji), andd his Tribhuvan Maharaj (son and disciple of Guru Shri Jaikishan Maharaj) gave lectures and dance performances on the theme “Katha Vaachan, Swatantra, Swabhavik”.

This Kathak workshop and lecture was organized by Dr. Anjana Jha (Head of Department) of Kathak Dance Department of Raja Mansingh Tomar Music and Arts University, Gwalior. At the end of the lecture, she thanked the Chief Guest of today Guru Shri Jaikishan Maharaj and his wife Guru Ruby Mishra, son Tribhuvan Maharaj and Vice Chancellor Shiv Shekhar Shukla and all the audience.
