Chief Minister Shr Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Madhya Pradesh will set a different example in the country by being ahead in every field in the country. A more systematic form is being given to the efforts made in the last four months for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Atmanirbhar Bharat. With this objective,today the webinar series has been started. In the coming three years, a better roadmap is required to make Madhya Pradesh more self-reliant which will be prepared on the basis of the suggestions and brainstorming of experts in the webinars. The people of the state will be apprised with the features of the roadmap this week itself. The common man will be able to know about the detailed strategy prepared for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh on Independence Day. With our resolve, we shall be able to achieve the target of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh in three years. A three-tier plan will be made in the state to achieve the goal of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh.

Chief Minister Chouhan was inaugurating the first webinar today to create a road map for the development of the state for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Chouhan addressed senior officials of NITI Aayog, subject matter experts, central and state government officials, state ministers and about 150 delegates participating in the webinar. On the first day of the webinar, discussion was held in various areas under physical infrastructure today. Prominent among them are NITI Aayog, World Bank, Tata Power, Adani Logistics Limited, National Investment and Infrastructure Fund, IIT Chennai, Water Aid India, Narmada Valley Development Authority, Atal Behari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and MP Power Management. Chief Minister Chouhan welcomed all the participants.

Madhya Pradesh will be ahead in every sector

Chief Minister Chouhan said that efforts have to be made so that Madhya Pradesh is ahead in every sector. Madhya Pradesh has actively implemented the Atmanirbhar Bharat package of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. For example, Madhya Pradesh is a pioneer in welfare of street vendors in the country. A lot of work has been done in Madhya Pradesh to give interest-free loans to small traders. Efforts have also been made to ensure that some large companies may invest in the country despite Covid-19 infection. Investment by these companies will change the economic scenario of Madhya Pradesh. About one crore 29 lakh metric tonnes of wheat procurement was achieved in the state. This was the highest wheat procurement in the country. Mandi law was amended to make it more farmer-friendly. Attempts have been made for value addition of products. Madhya Pradesh is fighting the battle to get GI tag for Basmati Rice. Farmers Production Organization (FPO) is being promoted for the welfare of farmers. Efforts have also been made to make local vocal. Women of self-help groups have been encouraged to enhance their creativity. Attempts have been made to develop the skills of other artisans also. Chief Minister Chouhan said that Prime Minister Modi has addressed the new education policy today. Efforts are being made for employment oriented education in Madhya Pradesh. Efforts are being made in the direction of imparting the culture of citizenship with knowledge and skills.

The present form of Chambal will change

Chief Minister Chouhan said that there is a large area of ​​rugged land in Gwalior Chambal region. The Chambal Expressway will become a Progress way for this area. The distance from here to the national capital Delhi is only three-four hours, which will be reduced even further. The construction of the expressway will change the present form of the Chambal region. Chief Minister Chouhan said that four lane and six lane roads will be constructed where necessary. Infrastructure will be developed in the field of women empowerment, trade industry, commerce, health, urban housing and real estate. Chief Minister Chouhan said that Prime Minister Modi dedicated the Rewa Solar Power Project recently. The possibilities of solar energy development are also being realized in Morena, Chhatarpur, Ratlam, Neemuch and Shajapur in the state. Revenue receipts have been reviewed in the state. Efforts are being made to ensure that no one remains unemployed, everyone should get work according to his ability.

Goals will be achieved by making a three-tier plan

Referring to the address by NITI Aayog representatives especially CEO Amitabh Kant and Advisor Sanjay Saha at the webinar, Chief Minister Chouhan assured that Madhya Pradesh will benefit from the important suggestions of subject experts and the findings of this webinar series. The goal of self-reliant Madhya Pradesh will be achieved by making a three-tier plan in the state. Efforts will be made to meet annual targets every quarter along with the first, second and third year goals. This webinar has been empowered to create a real road map of development.

At the outset, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains said that a webinar is being organized to transform the resolve of Covid-19 into an opportunity and to work on the resolve of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. In the beginning, 80 participants have joined the webinar. The experiences of everyone will benefit Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. He expressed gratitude towards the cooperation of NITI Aayog.

CEO of NITI Aayog, Amitabh Kant said that our entire team will cooperate to make Madhya Pradesh totally self-sufficient in three years. Together efforts will be made to make Madhya Pradesh the number one state of the country. A deskboard will be made in the state, through which monthly ranking of all districts can be done. Along with this, information about how and which department is working will also available.

Advisor, NITI Aayog Sanjay Kumar Saha said that all the people should have some station / mode of transport within 800 meters in Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. He informed that due to more time in land acquisition, the cost of the project increases and the work is not done on time. He said that a consultant must be appointed for project management. Battery production factory should be set up in Madhya Pradesh. He also gave important suggestions regarding energy, road and highway, water, urban development, travel and tourism.

Nodal officer of webinar, Additional Chief Secretary ICP Keshari participated in the discussions held among various groups of the webinar. Presentations of the components of physical infrastructure also took place in various sessions of the webinar.
