National Handloom Day celebrated in Gwalior by ‘Let It Be All About Style (Libaas)’ and ‘Sari Not Sorry’ groups by promoting sari wear. Group founder Richa Shivhare said, “August 7 is a National Handloom Day to commemorate the Swadeshi Movement which was launched on this day in 1905. We celebrated this day by putting on handloom sarees.”
