Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that in the state as well as Raisen district, the cases of corona are declining rapidly. The number of people getting healthy is also increasing continuously. There was a time when the corona infection in Raisen was increasing rapidly but everyone made consistent efforts, which are reflecting happy results. Now a decision has to be taken regarding unlocking the local Crisis Management Committee. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation of Corona infection in a meeting of Raisen District Crisis Management Group.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the district administration and the citizens should be lauded for decline in Corona infection rate in the district. There is a constant decline in the Corona infection rate due to the imposition of Corona curfew to break the Corona infection chain. The model of the people, for the people, by the people to control the infection has become a separate identity of the state. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Crisis Management Groups were formed at village, ward, city, block and district levels to deal with Corona infection which helped in preventing the spread of infection. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the positivity rate of Corona infection in Raisen is around one percent. But caution is still needed, even the slightest negligence can cause the infection to spread again. Testing should be continued in Raisen. Even if a single new case is detected, treatment should be started immediately and the patient should be sent to the Covid Care Center, so that the infection can be prevented. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that after testing, contact tracing should be undertaken, so that the contacts of the Covid positive person can be traces and they can also be tested and given proper assistance. The Kill-Corona campaign will continue. We must not allow the infection to spread further.

Anita Kirar, Divisional Commissioner Shri Kavindra Kiyawat, I.G. Shri GS Kushwaha, Collector Shri Umashankar Bhargava, Superintendent of Police Smt. Monica Shukla, Additional Collector Shri Anil Damor, CMHO Dr. Dinesh Khatri and other officials were present in the meeting.
153 out of 182 wards of urban bodies Corona free
Of the 182 wards of all municipal bodies in the district, 153 wards have become Corona free. Apart from these, there are five or more infected patients in total eight wards and one to four Corona infected patients in 21 wards.
So far, one lakh 21 thousand 120 people have been vaccinated
About vaccinations, it was informed that a total of one lakh 21 thousand 120 people in the district have received first dose of Covid vaccine and 21 thousand 46 people have been administered the second dose. As many as 15 thousand 891 people in 18 to 44 age group have got the first dose of Covid vaccine in the district. Similarly, 52 thousand and 5 people between 45 and 60 years have been given the first dose and 4832 people have been given second dose. In the district, 41 thousand 864 people above 60 years of age have been given first dose and 9048 people have been given second dose.
Covid Care Center to remain operational
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the administration should make efforts to ensure that the infected should be kept in Covid Care Centers so that their families remain safe.
Both shopkeepers and buyers should follow Covid friendly behaviour
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that rules should be made for opening the market and Covid friendly behaviour must be ensured. Both the shopkeeper and the buyer should adopt proper behaviour to avoid Covid.
Made schemes to provide relief to every category
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the status of Corona control should remain as it is. The infection must not be allowed to grow. The state government has implemented welfare schemes for various sections. Serving people is our religion. Corona will end with everyone’s cooperation and support. Shri Chouhan said that everyone should get Corona vaccine as this is the Suraksha Chakra. Vaccination increases the body’s immunity. The Crisis Management Groups of the villages should decide and ensure that everyone in rural areas should get vaccinated. This should be run like a campaign
Collector provides information
Collector Shri Umashankar Bhargav gave a presentation on the status of Corona infection and efforts being made for Corona control. He said that so far a total of 9062 positive patients have been found in the district, out of which 8478 patients have recovered after treatment. On May 27, 1294 samples were taken in the district, out of which 14 have tested positive. As many as 404 gram panchayats of the district are free from Corona infection. In four gram panchayats, there are five or more Corona infected patients and one to four in 86 gram panchayats.
CM virtually addresses members of village level Crisis Management Committees
After a meeting with the District Crisis Management Groups, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, in a virtual address to the members of the block and village level Crisis Management Group, said that the unlock process will begin in a phased manner from June 1. For this, members of the district, block, village and ward level Crisis Management Groups should decide what and how to open and to what extent to provide exemptions. He told to avoid events like wedding ceremonies etc. that cause crowds.
