Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the status of Corona infection is under total control in the state. This has been made possible through the coordinated efforts of public representatives, government servants and common citizens. The positivity rate in the state is constantly on the decline. Even a slight negligence in the constantly declining Corona infection can adversely affect all efforts, so caution and vigilance are necessary. Shri Chouhan said that the state government will provide every possible help to each victim’s family. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan weas reviewing the status and arrengements of Covid the District Panchayat auditorium in Sehore district.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that unlock will begin from June 1 in a phased manner. For this, members of the Crisis Management Committee at the district, Janpad, village and ward levels will decide what to open and to what extent the exemption should be granted. He said that the Corona curfew should be strictly followed in the entire district. Crowded events like wedding ceremonies etc. should be avoided. Shri Chouhan expressed satisfaction over the efforts made by the administration to control Covid infection. The Chief Minister said that the coordinated efforts of the public representatives and the administration has helped in effectively controlling Corona infection in the district. He congratulated all the public representatives, officers-employees, social organizations and field staff for their active role. Suggestions were also given for unlock by MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, Dewas MP Shri Mahendra Singh Solanki and other MLAs and public representatives during the meeting.
Conduct maximum tests
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan told to conduct maximum tests. Mobile testing should also be conducted by making sector-wise action plan. He told to continue with more than 1700 tests in Sehore district. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that every effort should be made to save the lives of every single patient. Each patient on ventilators and oxygen beds should be monitored intensively.
Intensive monitoring must in contact tracing and micro containment zones
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that after identifying the persons coming in contact with Corona positive patients through contact tracing, they should be tested for Corona. This can prevent infection. He said that micro containment zones should be created in rural and urban areas with high infection. In such areas, the administration should identify the patients of cold, cough and fever and provide medical kits immediately and treat them. Crisis Management Committees should play an active role in this work. Home isolation arrangements for infected persons should be perfect. In case there is not enough space at home, these patients can be admitted to the Covid Care Center.
Ensure necessary preparations for the third wave
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all necessary preparations should be made to face the third wave of Corona infection. Corona protocol should be followed so strictly that the third wave does not come. Oxygen beds and ICU beds should be increased. Adequate oxygen supply must be ensured. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the state government will give subsidy in grant and electricity charges on setting up oxygen plant.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that proper arrangements are also being made by the government to treat black fungus. Necessary medicines are also being arranged for the treatment of black fungus. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed to make arrangements for test of black fungus.
Kill-Corona Campaign must continue
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the Kill-Corona campaign should be continued. Every person affected by cold, cough, etc should be identified and provided with a medical kit immediately. Treatment should be arranged as needed. There should be no delay in identifying the symptoms of Corona and starting treatment. Corona patients admitted to hospitals should be treated better. Every effort should be made to save the patient’s life. Not a single dose of vaccine should go waste. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that according to scientists, vaccination is the most effective way to prevent Corona infection. Crisis management groups and social workers should clear the misconceptions against vaccination and bring awareness among the people.
Ensure free Covid treatment of poor and middle class families
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the first priority at this time is to save the lives of the people. He said that Corona breaks the body besides destroying you financially. Free Covid treatment should be ensured to all poor and middle class families under the Chief Minister Covid Upchar Yojana.
Assistance in times of crisis
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the state government is making every effort to help poor families under the circumstances arising out of Corona. Two months ration has been provided by Prime Minister Shri Modi and three months by the state government. Free ration is being distributed to all eligible beneficiaries. It should be ensured that no one goes hungry in the city. Necessary precautions should be taken to avoid Corona even during plucking of tendupatta. Funds are being released to the accounts of construction labourers and self-help groups. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that decision has been taken to provide assistance of Rs one lakh to families where people have died of Covid.
Government to take up responsibility of kids orphaned due to Covid
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a plan has been made in which the government will bear the responsibility for the upbringing of the children whose parents and guardians have died due to Covid. Government will provide Rs 5000 per month to eligible children and pay for their education. He said that the children of government servants who died in Covid will be given compassionate appointments.
Collector gives information through presentation
Collector Shri Chandra Mohan Thakur gave a presentation on the efforts made for Covid control in the district at the review meeting. Collector Shri Thakur informed that the Kill-Corona campaign is being conducted successfully in the district. The door-to-door survey of the campaign has yielded positive results. There has been a rapid decline in positivity rate. Health facilities have been strengthened at all health centers including the district hospital. Availability of Oxygen beds and essential medicines at hospitals and health centers are being regularly monitored.
