Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the unlock process in the state is beginning from June 1. Recommendations of the ministerial groups regarding unlock have been sent to all Crisis Management Groups. These groups will hold discussions on this by the evening of May 30 and take a decision regarding the unlock process and inform the general public on May 31.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that there will be separate unlock guidelines for the districts with more than 5 percent infection and less than 5 percent infection in the state. Indore, Bhopal, Sagar and Morena districts of the state have more than 5 percent infection. Restrictions will be reimposed if the infection increases anywhere.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the fight against Corona has to be made a mass movement in the state. Every person should adopt Covid friendly behavior and should be vaccinated. Every person should protect his family, village and city from Corona infection. We must make wearing of mask, maintaining distance, washing hands frequently etc. an essential part of our lives.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was holding a discussion with the ministers and officers in-charge commissioners, IGs, collectors, superintendents of police regarding ‘unlock’ in the state through video conferencing from his residence today.
Not a single infected person should be allowed to wander
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that care should be taken to ensure that not a single infected patient goes outside. Every patient has to be identified through maximum testing and every Covid patient has to be kept in home isolation or in Covid Care Center and should be treated in hospital if needed. Micro containment areas should be created in areas with infection. Contact tracing of every positive patient should be ensured.
Kill Corona Campaign-4 will continue
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Kill Corona campaign will continue in rural and urban areas. Patients of cold, cough etc. will be identified and their treatment will be started by distributing free medical kits to them.
Awareness about vaccination has to be created
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that vaccination acts as a Suraksha Chakra against Covid. Awareness about vaccination must be created by removing all misconceptions. Every person aged 18 and above should get vaccinated. It should also be noted that not a single dose of vaccine should go waste. Remaining doses should be administered without prior registration.
Containment Zones should be created
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed that red, green and yellow zones should be created in rural and urban areas according to the level of infection and accordingly restrictions should be enforced. Micro Containment Zones can also be built combining two or four houses. Do not let the infection spread under any circumstances.
