Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a unique work of corona control has been done in the state with public cooperation. But the crisis is not over yet. We all will not allow the transition to grow in the state by behaving in a Covid appropriate manner and will also start economic activities.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that village, block, ward and district level crisis management groups have made commendable contribution in the corona control in the state. This model of public cooperation of Madhya Pradesh is being discussed all over the country. Further, the battle against corona will continue as a mass movement.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana is being started in Madhya Pradesh from 30th May. Under this scheme, children up to the age of 24 years who have lost parents due to Corona will be provided ration and free education every month apart from monthly pension of Rs. 5 thousand. It will also include older children. Children whose relatives will not be able to care for them will stay in government children’s homes.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan addressed the in-charge ministers, MPs, MLAs, in-charge officers and all the members of village, block-ward and district-level crisis management committees from the residence through virtual medium today.

Rapid improvement

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that there has been a rapid decline in corona infection in the state. In the month of April, where the state’s positivity rate had reached 25%, today the positivity rate has come down to 2.2%. The active cases had reached 1 lakh 11 thousand, which have come down to 30899 and the recovery rate has increased from 80% to 95%. Today no new case has arrived in Dindori. 1 each new case has come in Agar-Malwa, Burhanpur, Katni and Khandwa. Infection is less than 1% in 18 districts of the state.

There should be such efforts so that the third wave may not hit

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that such efforts are being made so that the third wave of corona may not hit Madhya Pradesh. Our strategy is to conduct as many tests of the corona as possible, isolate positive patients, perform their contract tracing. Through the Kill Corona campaign, every patient with cold, cough, fever etc. will be identified and treated by giving them a free medical kit. The hospitalized patients will become healthy by providing the best treatment to them.

Ban on these activities right now during unlock

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that some activities will be banned in the entire state during the unlock in the state to be implemented from June 01, the Crisis Management Group will be able to take a decision regarding the rest. Political, cultural, religious, social events, fairs, sports, entertainment activities, schools, colleges, training institutes, picnic spots, etc. will remain closed. A very limited number of people will be able to attend marriages and funerals.

Red, Yellow and Green Zones

Red, yellow and green zones will be created according to the divisions. All activities in the Red Zones will be prohibited (except essential services), some activities will be conducted in Yellow and the in the Green rest of the activities will be conducted except those banned at the state level.

Curfew from Saturday night 10 pm to Monday 6 am

Corona curfew will remain in force in the entire state from 10 pm on Saturday night to 6 am on Monday.

Shops will also be sealed for not observing Covid Appropriate Behaviour

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Covid Appropriate Behaviour will be necessary for every person including wearing masks, maintaining distance between each other, not crowding anywhere, keeping distance between customers at shops etc. Action will be taken against those who do not do so. If shops, establishments violate these, then they can also be sealed.
