Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that private hospitals in the state have been attached under Ayushman Bharat Yojana for free treatment of Covid by giving special packages. All these affiliated hospitals should be checked and it should be ensured that best and free treatment is provided to Covid patients and it should also be seen that they are not detained in the hospital unnecessarily.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that effective implementation of Kill Corona campaign should continue in the state. No patient with cold and cough should be left out, their health check up should be ensured and free medical kits should be distributed. Maximum tests should be conducted. Contacts of every patient should be traced. Containment and Micro Containment areas should be created in areas where infection is detected. Infection should be strictly prevented. Covid-appropriate behaviour should be made an essential part of our daily routine.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan reviewed the situation and arrangements of Corona in the state through video conferencing at Mantralaya today. Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman etc. were present in the meeting.
New cases number less than 1000
As many as 901 new cases of Corona have been reported in the state, 4113 patients have recovered and the number of active cases has come down to 17 thousand 136. Seven days positivity is 2.0 percent and today’s positivity is 1.2 percent.
Over 20 new cases in four districts
More than 20 new cases have been reported in four districts of the state. As many as 338 new cases have been reported in Indore, 191 in Bhopal, 83 in Jabalpur and 29 in Gwalior.
Less than one percent weekly positivity in 24 districts of the state
There is less than one percent weekly positivity in 24 districts of the state and up to 5 percent weekly positivity in 27 districts. Weekly positivity in Satna, Chhatarpur, Guna, Narsinghpur, Barwani, Harda, Shivpuri, Katni, Chhindwara, Shajapur, Dindori, Singrauli, Mandla, Bhind, Agar-Malwa, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Dewas, Umaria, Datia, Tikamgarh, Alirajpur, Shahdol and Mandsaur is less than one percent.
6729 patients in hospitals
At present there are 6729 Covid patients in the hospitals in the state, out of which 2051 patients are in ICU, 2309 patients are on oxygen beds and 2369 are on normal beds. There are 10 thousand 407 patients in home isolation.
Indore’s positivity rate is 3.3 percent
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that the positivity rate of Indore is 3.3 percent today. For this the minister in charge, the members of the Crisis Management Group and all concerned deserve to be lauded. Indore has 338 new cases and the average positivity for 7 days is 5.5 percent. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Indore should become a model in the country for Covid-appropriate behaviour.
Vaccinations for 18 + should be expedited
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed to ensure that vaccination work of those above 18 should be expedited. Along with this, the work of vaccination of 45 + must also be continued.
Bhopal’s security team commendable
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan lauded the work of Corona Protection Team being led by the Minister-in-Charge for Corona awareness in Bhopal and said that similar experiments should be made in other districts also.
