Five persons including four from a family were killed and five received injuries after the loading vehicle, they were travelling in, met with an accident in Gwalior on Wednesday.
The incident took place at Jaurasi Ghat on Gwalior-Shivpuri Highway. Police sources said that the vehicle was driven at high speed. The drive, who reportedly took a nap, lost control over the vehicle and it hit a divider. Subsequently, it turned upside down.
According to police, Lakhan Singh Bais, a resident of Hazira in Gwalior, along with his family members had gone to Narwar in Shivapuri district to attend funeral of his elder brother. His brother-in-law, Satendra Singh Tomar along with his family members accompanied Lakhan.
They were returning to Gwalior from Narwar. They boarded a loading vehicle, which was already loaded with wheat bags.

The deceased have been identified as Govind Das Sahu, 45, Seema Singh, 35, Kanha, 12, Santoshi, 6 and Sapna, 18. The police said that a case has been registered and investigation is on.
