In order to conquer the global pandemic Corona, the Corona Vaccination Maha Abhiyan will start from 21st June on International Yoga Day in the entire state and country as well as in Gwalior district. On this day, preparations have been made for the target of applying corona vaccine to about 50 thousand people across the district. 300 vaccination centers have been set up in the district. Along with this, 60 mobile teams will also do vaccination throughout the day. District’s Covid in-charge and Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar has appealed that only by getting the corona vaccine, we, our family members, friends, neighbors and the entire public can be safe from corona. Therefore, not only get yourself vaccinated, but everyone should try together in such a way that the entire public including every person from their home, neighborhood and well-known person should also get this Mangal vaccine.
District’s Covid in-charge and Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar also participated in the media advocacy workshop organized at the Collectorate on Sunday. Collector Mr. Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, Municipal Commissioner Mr. Shivam Verma and Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Manish Sharma along with other concerned officers and representatives of print and electronic media were present in the workshop.
On this occasion, Energy Minister Tomar urged the media representatives to spread the message to the people that it is necessary for everyone to get the corona vaccine to prevent the third wave of corona. Also, apply a mask even after getting vaccinated, maintain a distance of two yards and keep sanitizing or washing hands regularly. Tomar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to provide free vaccination to the youth above 18 years of age. State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made elaborate arrangements to effectively run the vaccination campaign across the state from International Yoga Day.

Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh informed that on the day of World Yoga Day, an online lucky draw would be drawn by including the names of the people who got the vaccine. Through this lucky draw, 50 people will be provided TV, fridge, washing machine, mobile, oven and other household items as an incentive.
The district administration has also taken a decision to reward the team of the center who got the most vaccinations under the incentive scheme. Cash prizes will be awarded to the 10 teams that have done the most vaccinations. The first team will be given a cash amount of Rs 25,000. After this team, 9 other teams who have done maximum vaccination will also be rewarded with cash amount. He told that the lucky draw will be held on June 22. All the winners will be presented with their prizes delivered at their place of residence.
