Former Union Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia said this at the launch of the Corona Vaccination Campaign. Scindia started the vaccination campaign by reaching Hazira Hospital, District Hospital Morar and Maternity Home Laxmiganj in Gwalior on Monday.
Rajya Sabha MP Scindia said that we did not even imagine that the Covid epidemic would come before us. The exemplary work done by the Corona warriors, regardless of their lives in the first and second wave of Covid infection, is less than to be praised for their exemplary work. Doctors, Paramedical staff, District Administration, Police Administration, Municipal Corporation staff have proved by giving their best services during Covid that whenever any calamity comes, we all will face it unitedly and defeat it.
State Energy Minister Pradhuman Singh Tomar, Former MLA Munnalal Goyal, Former MLA Ramesh Agarwal, Former SADA President Rakesh Jadaun, Senior Leader Ashok Sharma, Gwalior Range IG Avinash Sharma, DIG Rakesh Hingankar, Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, Superintendent of Police Amit Sanghi, Municipal Commissioner Shivam Verma and public representatives were present.
Rajya Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, historic work has been done in the country to deal with Covid infection. Along with expanding the medical facilities, every effort has been made to save the lives of common people. With the cooperation of all sections of the society, the infection was also brought under control. Scindia said that the infection is not over yet and our fight is still on. All of us have to defeat Covid completely by taking full precautions.
Rajya Sabha MP Scindia said that special efforts are also being made to increase health facilities in Gwalior. Efforts are on to build a 1000 bed, 500 bed new hospital as well as bring a modern hospital in the private sector. Along with this, fast work is being done to further improve health facilities in Dabra, Bhitarwar, Mohana. Scindia said that work is also being done in the direction of upgradation of Hazira Hospital and Murar Hospital. In the coming time, health facilities in Gwalior district will be made better. Due to better health facilities, residents of Gwalior will not have to go to Delhi for treatment.
Rajya Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia also said that a campaign of vaccination has been started on International Yoga Day on 21st June. Vaccination will get rid of corona, while yoga will make whole life disease free. He also said that “do gaz doori aur mask hai necessary” must be implemented in our lives. It is necessary for all of us to follow it until the infection is over.
Rajya Sabha MP Scindia also visited Hazira Hospital and discussed with the members of the vaccination team. He also discussed with the common people getting vaccinated and asked them to motivate others to get vaccinated. He also discussed with the doctors and administrative officers regarding the work being done for the development of Hazira Hospital. Instructions were also given to do the works which are approved for the development of the hospital with immediate effect.
Jyotiraditya Scindia also visited the hospital at District Hospital Murar and discussed with the members of the vaccination team. He also assured to get the proposals pending at the government level for the development of Murar Hospital. Along with this, after reaching the maternity home Laxmiganj, inspected the maternity home and discussed the health facilities with the doctors.
Presiding over the program, State Energy Minister Pradhuman Singh Tomar said that the State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister Narendra Gwalior expresses its gratitude to Singh Tomar and Rajya Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia. At the time of crisis, all the people readily fulfilled whatever requirement Gwalior needed from the point of view of health facilities. As a result of this, we can control the infection to a great extent. He said that speedy work is also being done in the direction of increasing health facilities in Gwalior. In the coming days, there will be availability of oxygen beds and other necessary equipment not only in Gwalior but also in Dabra, Bhitarwar, Ghatigaon.
Energy Minister Tomar said that a new 500-bed hospital will also start soon in Gwalior. Along with this, the work of upgradation of Hazira and Murar hospitals is also being done at a fast pace. Special wards are also being prepared for children. Work is also being done for the construction of oxygen plants in Gwalior. If the need arises in the future, then the work is being done rapidly to enable us to deal with every situation. Energy Minister Tomar said that we have achieved the target of 50 thousand vaccinations in Gwalior district under Maha Vaccination Campaign. With everyone’s efforts, we will do more vaccination work than the target.
In the program organized in Murar, former MLA Munnalal Goyal spoke about the needs of Murar Hospital. He said that City Scan Machine has been installed in Murar Hospital. Along with this, a proposal for new construction in the upper part of the hospital has also been sent to the government level. Efforts are also being made for other development works of the hospital.
In the program organized at Laxmiganj maternity home, former MLA Ramesh Agrawal gave welcome address. He said that Laxmiganj maternity home is a very old health centre. Its building has been renovated. A 30-bed ward is proposed to be constructed in this health centre. With the availability of 30 bed facilities, better health services will be available to the residents of the area at this centre.
