To defeat the global pandemic Corona, the enthusiasm of the youth and other citizens became visible in the district on World Yoga Day. The enthusiasm with which people came out to get the corona vaccine on Monday morning did not cool down till evening. Till 5 pm in the district, 79 thousand 124 youths and citizens got Amritmayi Vaccines for protection from Corona. This figure of vaccination will increase further in the campaign started on World Yoga Day. The information is being collected from all the vaccination centres.
It may be known that the target of vaccination of 50 thousand people was set in the district on World Yoga Day, which was completed at one o’clock in the afternoon. This achievement has been possible due to the joint efforts of everyone including senior public representatives and efficient strategy of the district administration for awareness. 300 vaccination centers were set up in the district for vaccination on World Yoga Day, along with 60 mobile teams were also engaged in vaccination.
To make the vaccination campaign a success, while senior public representatives reached various vaccination centers for encouragement, Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, Municipal Commissioner Shivam Verma, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Kishore Kanyal, Additional Collector Ashish Tiwari, ADM Rinkesh Vaish and TN Singh, other senior officers of district administration, Chief Medical and Health Officers, all SDMs and Chief Executive Officers of Janpad Panchayats and other concerned officers also visited the vaccination centers throughout the day.
