The court has given this direction
The High Court has imposed a compensation of Rs 50,000 on the officers. The amount of damages will be recovered and given to the victim in seven days. If the victim wishes, she can also demand additional compensation.
CCTV cameras should not be switched off in police stations- High Court order to DGP
All the CCTVs installed in the police stations by the court should be kept operational for 24 hours. In the future these cameras will not remain closed. Camera for control from the control room.
