State Energy Minister Pradhuman Singh Tomar has said that Sagartal of Gwalior suburb should be made a center of public attraction. Along with the cleanliness of the pool, the lighting system should also be made better. Minister Tomar gave these instructions while visiting various areas of suburb Gwalior along with Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, Superintendent of Police Amit Sanghi and Municipal Commissioner Shivam Verma on Thursday.

Energy Minister Pradhuman Singh Tomar expressed his displeasure on seeing the filth in the lake during the inspection of Sagar Tal. He said that a special campaign should be launched for the cleanliness of Sagar Taal. The nets around the pool should be made tight. Along with this, attractive electrical decoration should also be done around the ocean. He said that action should be taken to develop Sagartal as a tourist destination through tourism development. Along with this, he also urged the Superintendent of Police to make arrangements for setting up a police post at Sagartal.

Energy Minister Tomar, during his visit to the area, directed to take action by running a special campaign for cleaning the drains before the rainy season. He said that water should not be filled anywhere during the rainy season due to non-cleanliness of drains. Along with this, instructions were also given to continuously monitor the drinking water supply system. In many areas, complaints of non-availability of water should also be resolved promptly.
Minister Tomar expressed his displeasure over the dirt being found during his visit to various areas of the city. He directed the officers of the corporation that the cleanliness system should be made better. Seeing the filth on Ghasmandi Health Center and Muktidham Road in Sheelnagar, instructions were also given to run a special campaign for cleanliness. Energy Minister Tomar also directed to do the work of maintenance of street lights before the rainy season.

Energy Minister Tomar asked Municipal Commissioner Shivam Verma to visit the city at night for maintenance of street lights. Any street light found defective during the visit, action should be taken to fix it immediately. Energy Minister Tomar along with the officials also inspected the Sagartal intersection. Discussed regarding the progress of road construction being constructed by the Public Works Department. He also directed to complete the work of water and sewer lines at the crossroads under the AMRUT scheme.

Energy Minister reached Harihar Nagar to solve the power problem

Energy Minister Pradhuman Singh Tomar himself reached the spot along with the officials of the Electricity Department and started the work of maintenance of the power line in front of himself after receiving a complaint about the power shutdown of 50 houses in Harihar Nagar, suburb of Gwalior. He directed the officials of the Electricity Department that whatever work is needed to fix the power supply in Harihar Nagar, it should be done immediately.

The officials of the Electricity Department started the action to replace the burnt power line in Harihar Nagar immediately. Along with this, the action of increasing the line by installing electric poles as per the requirement also started. The residents of Harihar Nagar also congratulated the Energy Minister Tomar for his immediate action to rectify the power supply. Energy Minister Tomar has directed the officials of the Electricity Department that the common consumers should continue to get uninterrupted supply of electricity. On receiving any information about the interruption of power supply, the team of the department should ensure to take action to solve the problem promptly.
